Documentary ‘OTHERS BEFORE SELF’
Benko Pulko and Snežana Divjak share a common vision: to help preserve the culture of one of the world’s most peaceful nations by supporting the education and development of Tibetan children in exile.
The documentary film, co-produced by the pair, conveys a message of compassion and its vital importance to human survival. This is also a story of consideration, cooperation and peace, blending images of the childrens lives with footage of their supporters from the other side of the world. The core philosophy of the documentary is summarized in an interview with His Holiness the 14thDalai Lama.
The film was premiered 04/29/2013 at International Film Festival of Documentary Film BELDOCS, in Belgrade.
